On Friday, Sept. 16 at Cardinal Stadium, the UofL football team faced off against the Florida State Seminoles in the Cardinals' first home football game of the season.
For much of the night, the Cards were ahead of or tied with the 'Noles. UofL quarterback Malik Cunningham (#3), who rushed 127 yards, scored two rushing touchdowns; running back Trevion Cooley (#23) also scored two touchdowns, one of which came from a 17-yard pass from Cunningham.
Unfortunately, though, the fourth quarter ended up the Cards' downfall. The team lost to FSU with a final score of 31-35.
Still, LEO was there to get shots of the game action — including all the fan excitement in the stands.
