No kill

Feb 18, 2009 at 6:00 am

Animal lovers, listen up.

Stevie Ray’s Blues Bar’s Annual Hall of Fame concert on Sunday, Feb. 22 benefits the Animal Care Society, Louisville’s only no-kill shelter.

On deck to perform are Travel’n Mojos, Susan O’Neil & Blues Seville, King Bees, Da Mudcats and Hellfish. Da Mudcats’s Mike Lynch and Hellfish’s Jimmy Gardner will be inducted.

The issue is near and dear to Stevie Ray’s owner Todd Webster, who recently had to put down the dog he bought from that same shelter. Cover is $5. See www.stevieraysbluesbar.com.
