We've written about the subject a lot lately. From Chef Edward Lee's award-winning steakhouse Nami to weekend brunch at Cafe KIWA and the Korean Corridor along Frankfort Avenue, we're so excited about the plethora of Asian eateries, bakeries, and cafes opening up around the city.

Nami Modern Korean Steakhouse

The restaurant is opening in the former All Thai’d Up space and will be open from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. Monday - Saturday. The restaurant plans to serve Korean fare in bento-style boxes (ahem, 도시락) and sushi.

Choong Man (CM)’s Louisville location opened in March '24. This chain has about 50 stores around the U.S. after making their national debut in 2017. The store is known for its Korean-style fried chicken and special sauces. The menu includes several other items including some seafood and shellfish offerings.

Miki’s Karaoke Bar

Miki’s has a large room for Karaoke, and a good Korean menu including tteokbokki, kimbap, and bulgogi. You can find everything from beer buckets to flavored soju and sweet rice pancakes at Miki’s, a Korean restaurant and karaoke bar in Clifton. The owner Mikyong Miller grew up in South Korea and has lived in Louisville since the late ‘90s. She was excited to add this concept to the growing Louisville Korean restaurant scene
