THE BIG STOMP MUSIC FESTIVAL

The Big Stomp, the country’s first music festival dedicated to mental health awareness, is back for its ninth year, July 25–26, 2025, at Louisville’s picturesque Waterfront Park. Originally called PeteFest, the two-day festival will have a varied lineup of more than 12 musical performers spread across two stages in addition to a range of immersive events meant to promote emotional well-being and destigmatize mental health issues.

But The Big Stomp is about far more than wonderful music. Created by The Pete Foundation, a Louisville-based charity focused on mental health education and outreach, the festival mixes entertainment with healing methods to produce a truly unique and meaningful experience. Attendees can explore a comprehensive array of wellness products and interactive displays curated to enhance mental and emotional well-being.

  • Nutrition Nook (Sponsored by Kroger): Fresh fruit and sweet treats by award-winning pastry chef Jackie Joseph
  • Love, Tito’s Coloring Wall: A collaborative art space where attendees create a mural that will be turned into postcards for Mental Health Month 2026
  • “If This Is You” Saloon: A Western-themed mocktail lounge offering conversation and connection
  • Equine & Goat Therapy: Therapy horses return—and new this year, adorable therapy goats help promote comfort and calm

Two-day general entry passes start at $59. Youth 14 and under enter free with a paying adult. VIP Big Bundle passes, which feature premium privileges and experiences, are available for $220.
