The Louisville Ballet presents a series of performances as part of its Summer 2025 programming. Louisville Ballet

While Louisville Ballet’s company artists take a seasonal break from the stage, the organization is offering a series of events to keep the community engaged in dance all summer long.

From May 26–31, the Mind. Body. Balance. adult dance and fitness summer intensive will take place at the Louisville Ballet Studios. Open to teens and adults ages 15 and up, the program includes classes in ballet, jazz, tap, yoga, tai chi, and more.

Throughout June, Boys, Books, + Ballet returns to Louisville Free Public Libraries. The initiative highlights male dancers and combines storytelling with movement activities for children and families of all gender identities.

The Ballet Bound audition tour will run June 7–21 in partnership with Olmsted Parks. The program offers free classical ballet training to selected youth from across Greater Louisville.

Finally, from August 6–10, Louisville Ballet will perform A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Central Park as part of Shakespeare in the Park. The free event features pre-show entertainment, food trucks, and family-friendly performances under the stars.
