For us, it’s prim and proper Barbara Crampton slipping into her black latex dominatrix outfit. Yow! Talk about stimulated glands! One of our personal guilty pleasures ever since Joe Bob Briggs showed it on The Movie Channel’s late, lamented “Joe Bob’s Drive-In Theater.” Thieves steal an Army payroll, kidnapping a pilot and his daughter to fly them to Mexico — until one of them parachutes out unexpectedly with the loot. The others land and begin to track him, finding only a dark farmhouse and scarecrows in the fields. Then the double-crosser walks into the farmhouse on his own — even though being dead, gutted and stuffed with cash! It gets weird from there.

Our low-rent buds at Cheezy Flicks Entertainment scrounged up this wonderful cult disaster just for you, loyal LEO reader. The original Dr. J’s great-grandkid continues the old guy’s experiments, wisely substituting kidnapped nubiles for his own hoary hide, nestled below the hustle and bustle of a suburban San Fran mansion. Yeah, it’s a grade-z stinker of the first order, complete with clumsy kung fu and a giant, mute “assistant.” Our kinda flick!
FLOCK OF DODOS

A wonderfully light-hearted look at America’s Evolution vs. Christian Creation myth debacle that takes the position that they are probably both wrong — but in any case, the furor tells us a lot more about ourselves than it does about any abject reality of existence. Deep, comic, cosmic and uplifting, this is a must-see for anyone with half a brain or a rosary.
GORILLA AT LARGE/MYSTERY ON MONSTER ISLAND

Part of a new series of cult double-features from Fox/MGM. The first was originally a 3-D B-film for kiddies — starring Cameron Mitchell, Anne Bancroft, Lee J. Cobb, Raymond Burr and Lee Marvin! The other is also a kidfest, with Terence Stamp, Peter Cushing and some rubber dinos. Other titles include “Yongary Monster from the Deep/Konga,” “The House on Skull Mountain/The Mephisto Waltz,” “The Return of Dracula/The Vampire,” “Tales from the Crypt/Vault of Horror.”

This third entry in the Film Crew series — heir apparent to MST3K — is based on one of the all-time bad movies. Starring Adrienne “Bourbeau” (not to be confused with Adrian “Barbeau” — well, maybe), it’s the tale of a tribe of beautiful cavewomen who all have ugly mates. On the other side of their island is a land of ugly women with handsome mates. Oh! What will happen next? Mike Nelson, Kevin Murphy and Bill Corbett fill in the action with inane, hysterical chatter.

A wonderful memory from Sunday afternoons on the couch starring Claude “Prof. Challenger” Rains, David “Al” Hedison, Michael Rennie, Jill “Yowsa” St. John and Fernando Lamas as the intrepid explorers who find themselves face to face with excellent live-action dinosaurs on a mysterious, isolated plateau. As a bonus, this release also includes the awesome 1925 Willis O’Brien silent version! Both are based on a tale by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
THE RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD

A new Collector’s Edition release of the movie that blew Louisville off the map! This infamous resurrection of the “Night of the Living Dead” franchise set in “Louisville, Ky.” (wink, wink) stars Clu Gulager and James Karen who inadvertently release a canister of deadly “Triox.” Its tar-covered inhabitant and kin quickly take over “Cave Hill Cemetery” where lovely Linnea Quigley and her punk-buddies are dancing naked on graves. A classic of the genre.
TWO AND A HALF MEN: THE COMPLETE FIRST SEASON

We LOVE this show! Charlie Sheen pretty much plays himself as the aimless aging lothario whose only interests are drinking and bedding the next woman, while whiny Jon Cryer is his mousy, insecure brother. Cryer and 10-year-old son arrive at Charlie’s doorstep during a divorce, begging for a place to stay. The three mix like mud and Vaseline, and of such things true comedy is born.

A perfect selection of Price movies including the two “Dr. Phibes” movies, the underrated “Theater of Blood” with Diana Riggs, “Tales of Terror,” “Twice Told Tales,” “Madhouse” and “The Conqueror Worm” (aka “Witchfinder General”) on four discs. A fifth disc contains several bonus goodies including a Price bio-doc, a reminiscence (“Working with Vincent Price”) and “The Art of Fear.”

A pair of grindhouse-esque offerings from the late ’70s. The first is an excrementally bad — if entertaining — beach movie/teen-sexer/serial-killer thingie with a few boobs. The second is more interesting because it stars cable porn-meister Zalman King as a depraved biker who kidnaps a school teacher. She offers herself to him to protect the virtue of her busload of nubile students. Not enough titties, but then, is there ever?
