Summer's here, and it's time for a getaway trip — but given the high cost of gas prices, it makes sense to stay in-state for a vacation. The beautiful Red River Gorge area has so much to offer for fans of hiking, rock climbing, and the outdoors in general — better yet, it's only 2.5 hours away from Louisville.

We've put together this list of Airbnbs in the RRG area, a mixture of treehouses, cabins, a farm, and more. Even if you're not planning to travel anytime soon, the great thing about RRG Airbnbs is: they're fun to look at. — Carolyn Brown
