Ex-UofL Coach Chris Mack Is Selling His Prospect Mansion For $3.9 Million [PHOTOS]

Chris Mack is out of UofL and now… out of Louisville?

The former head UofL men’s basketball coach is selling his Prospect home for almost $4 million.

Not that he needs the money. After a series of losses and an extortion scandal, Mack reached an agreement with UofL in January to leave the team, as long as they continued to pay him a $4.8 million severance.

Mack’s six bedroom, 10 bath mansion features a Cardinal themed entertainment area downstairs, which, according to the Courier Journal, was a main selling feature of the home because of its tall ceilings — ideal for hosting basketball players well over six feet. It now contains a billiards room, karaoke lounge, restaurant-grade wet bar and a custom-built loft space with built-in bunk beds.

The custom house, built in 2008, wasn’t even on the market when the Macks discovered that it was their dream home, according to the same CJ article.

The house has a royal feel, with a wood-paneled study and gothic features in the “hearth room.”

The home also features an in-ground pool and two laundry rooms.
