Easter Over Louisville, a free community event, is set to happen this Friday, April 18th, at Slugger Field. Attendees can expect to have a fun evening full of fun, faith, and family, featuring over 100,000 Easter eggs in what has become the state’s largest egg hunt.

Event Highlights:

  • 100,000 Easter Eggs—Kentucky’s largest egg hunt, open to all ages!
  • FREE Admission—No cost to join the fun, making it accessible for everyone.
  • Live Worship Music—Inspiring performances to uplift the spirit.
  • Family Fun—Prizes, games, and interactive experiences for all.

WJIE and its partner churches are the organization behind the event, which is set to draw thousands of families together for a night of celebration. Slugger Field will be overrun with over 100,000 eggs for the hunt, and families can enjoy live worship music from top local artists, an interactive Easter Story reenactment, family activities, prize giveaways and community booths.

Local churches, businesses, and volunteers are still needed to make this celebration a success. “This is more than an egg hunt—it’s a chance to come together and celebrate the Easter story with 100,000 eggs and endless joy,” said Troy Miles, WJIE, in a press release.
