The Tiny Art Show and Family Day is a community-centered, arts-focused, fun-for-everyone event hosted annually by the Art Center of the Bluegrass. The gallery features miniature works of art submitted and donated by local artists, and during the event, each piece will be available for purchase! The proceeds benefit Art Center programs, providing art education and outreach opportunities. The Tiny Art Show is currently on exhibition in the Art Center’s Main Street and Museum galleries. Admission to the galleries is free, and the exhibition will be available for viewing from now through April 26th.
Prior to the Tiny Art Show sale is Family Day, an event providing free, interactive, hands-on art activities for visitors of all ages. The Danville Children’s Choir and the Boyle County Public Library’s Book Mobile will also be at the Art Center for Family Day festivities, and you can meet the Art Center staff and tour the campus!
“This event is a great way for people to explore their creativity while supporting local arts,” said Art Center director Laura Elwyn in a press release. “Family Day is a great way to come and explore the Art Center, and the Tiny Art Show is a time for everyone from school children to professional artists to try their hand at creating art. We love seeing all the submissions and can’t wait to share them in an exhibit this year.”
