Get ready for Kentucky Shakespeare’s upcoming fall production of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein Kentucky Shakespeare

This October, Kentucky Shakespeare invites you to experience a chilling classic like never before. Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein returns to the stage in a bold new production that promises a thrilling night of theater perfect for the spooky season. The show runs from October 1 to 26 at Kentucky Shakespeare’s headquarters on Myrtle Street.

This powerful adaptation by David Catlin, from Chicago’s Lookingglass Theatre Company, goes deep into Shelley’s story. Audiences will follow Victor Frankenstein and his tragic creation on a haunting journey full of horror, love, and the dangers of playing God.

To clear up any confusion, this is not an immersive or headphone-based show. It is a fully staged, traditional seated performance with actors, lighting, sound, and all the excitement of live theater. The show runs about two hours and fifteen minutes.
