Let’s hit the lanes! The 11th annual Bowl to Grow fundraiser is back on Sunday, March 16, from 1-4 p.m. at the Dixie Bowl. Hosted by Louisville’s Southwest Center, the family-friendly event will raise money for adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.

The Southwest Center supports these individuals in their personalized goals, with community-based services like day training, residential services, medical support, transportation services, community access/supports and respite services. For the past 40 years, this non-profit has provided hope for people with disabilities and their families as they encourage and support these individuals in living, working, and enjoying their communities.

For $25 a person, your team of four will bowl three rounds of 9 Pin No-tap, and $25 donations toward sponsoring SWC individuals to form their own bowling teams are also appreciated. The top three bowlers of the combined three games will win cash prizes: 1st Prize: $1000, 2nd Prize: $500, 3rd Prize: $250. Ties will split the winnings. For information on available event sponsorships and those perks, reach out to Julie Hook (502.314.6823, jhook@swcky.org).

Purchase tickets at Dixie Bowl (10526 Dixie Hwy) or through Southwest Center’s Venmo (@swcky) with Bowl to Grow in the note as well as the names of team bowlers. Come play bowling games, win prizes and participate in a silent auction!
