on attica scott: ‘fight the power’

Go get them, Attica! —David Cooper

Thank you for this great interview! Attica will be such a vital voice in Frankfort, and Louisville should be proud to have her in our, and Kentucky’s, corner. It’s easy to get frustrated by politics and government these days, but Attica proves that hard work, sincere leadership, and a willingness to speak up still count for a lot. I’m rooting for her. —Bailey Roese

on EDITOR’S NOTE: Bevin, Ouster-in-Chief

First of all, the Ark Park won a lawsuit against the previous administration for withholding the incentives … Second, in the irony of all ironies, he is finally taking action to save the pensions of the government employee unions that vote reliably Democrat, despite the Democrats not adequately funding their pensions for decades. I disagree with Bevin on that. He should have let their pension system go bankrupt.

—Brian Russell

What does rock & roll, or music for that matter, have to do with politics. Musicians are entertainers, some of them talented — not politicians. And neither are people who write about music or politics. —Richard Graef

Yet some of our prominent politicians were entertainers first. What qualifications are required for politics, Mr. Graef? What would disqualify writers? —Steven Ward

That’s where Welp! comes in. Welcome, my friends, to TACOQUEST!
