Change Today, Change Tomorrow is proud to announce the launch of the Kentucky Double Dollars program at the West End Farmers Market on Sunday, July 13 from 3–7 PM at California Park. This major expansion of our food justice efforts is made possible by Community Farm Alliance, allowing us to double the value of SNAP dollars spent with eligible vendors—stretching household budgets and deepening community food access.

This week’s market is also centered on maternal health and food security, offering $26 in free vouchers for expecting mothers to receive fresh produce, meats, and additional grocery gift cards.

Featured Vendor: Cleav’s Family Market
A trusted partner since 2020, Cleav’s Family Market brings farm-fresh produce and meats to West End residents each week. Their ingredients are not only available for purchase but are also used in live recipe demos, bringing ancestral flavors and healthy cooking to life.

Community Activation and Advocacy
We are also a proud site for two important activation efforts:
● Sign the Petition: We urge attendees to support the fight against cuts to SNAP by signing the petition hosted by Save the Children Action Network (SCAN)
● Volunteer With Us: SNAP recipients can access local volunteer opportunities that honor their time and energy through our profile with Metro United Way.

Calling All Performers
We’re inviting local artists to share their talents during this family-friendly event. Selected performers will receive a $50 virtual gift card. To participate, email T’Von Terry at farmersmarket@change-today.org.

The West End Farmers Market continues to be a hub for joy, nourishment, and organizing—bringing good food and good people together in pursuit of health and liberation. Join us this Sunday and every second and fourth Sunday through October.

About Change Today, Change Tomorrow Change Today, Change Tomorrow is a Black-led nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing food access, improving public health, and advancing community-centered solutions.
