Gov. Matt “Oblivious” Bevin seems to think he is above the law. He told  WHAS-AM radio that his handpicked UofL trustees should meet, even though a judge said they cannot take any action. Why meet then? Bevin said the judge has “overstepped” himself in the case, which was brought to answer whether the governor himself overstepped his authority by replacing the board with a new one.

The failed West Louisville FoodPort was described as The West End’s savior or its colonizer. Now it is the source of angry discussion about who gets city help. Joe McNealy has sued the city, saying it discriminated against him and his plan for a “WiFi freeway.” “It’s white privilege,” McNealy, an African American, told The Courier-Journal. “If you look at all of the major projects in west Louisville, none of these are owned and controlled by black people or low- to moderate-income people that the money is supposed to help.” The Mayor’s Office said it does not comment on pending litigation.

Former state Auditor Adam Edelen and Matt Jones of Kentucky Sports Radio kicked off the New Kentucky Project, which “seeks to move Kentucky forward and modernize our state through a variety of different policy initiatives.” Blah, blah, blah. They said the group is not meant to get them elected. Jones told The CJ : “Right now, I’m not so sure how many people outside the right wing of the Republican Party can run and win a statewide office any time soon.” !!!!
