An artists’ breakfast is open to all visual artists to network — every Thursday at 9 a.m. at The Café, 712 Brent St.

Ceramicist Amy Potter has moved her studio to 741 E. Chestnut St.

Derby City Espresso (myspace.com/derbycityespresso.com) is presenting the second annual “Deck the Halls” and is looking for artists to create skateboard deck art. Deadline is Dec. 1. 

ART ECOLOGY (www.artecologyllc.com) is accepting submissions from visual artists for exhibition, promotion and sales of their work.

The Kentucky Girlhood Project (www.kygirlhoodproject.blogspot.com) is requesting work from Kentucky female visual artists, writers, musicians and performance and video artists for the 2009 Kentucky Girlhood Project at Murray State University. Deadline is Nov. 15. 

Actors Theatre (www.actorstheatre.org) is accepting entries for its African-American Art Exhibition. Deadline is Nov. 14.
