Bird is selling her stately Mockingbird Valley home, which she bought in 2018, for $5.7 million.
The house, designed by Louisville architect E.T. Hutchings and built in 1929, sits on 13 acres, surrounded by trees perfect for staring out the window pensively as you pen your next masterpiece.
It features four fireplaces (all of them on the first floor), a walnut-paneled library, a wraparound terrace and an elevator.
Despite its age, the homes bathrooms and kitchens appear updated. There are four bedrooms and five bathrooms.
Bird made her fortune with her vampire romance series. She is from Massachusetts but lives in Louisville now with her Kentuckian husband, John Neville Blackmore II.
