Norae Bar

NoraeBar, a popular karaoke bar in Louisville’s NuLu neighborhood, is closing its doors after more than five years in business.

Located at 717 East Market Street, NoraeBar announced Tuesday that its building has been sold and the business has been given a two-month timeline to vacate. The last night of karaoke is scheduled for Oct. 19, 2025.

In a farewell message to fans, the owner thanked the community for their loyalty:

“This ‘little karaoke bar that could’ has only been possible because of your support and loyalty. We’ve created a lot of memories here together. You all made this more than just a business – you made it a home.”

NoraeBar will continue normal operations until its final night and hinted at finally hosting the “Grand Opening” party it never got to throw when the bar first launched during the pandemic.

“While this chapter is ending, we’re grateful for the journey. Thank you for these amazing years. Come sing with us one last time in the next two months.”
