Albeit newly opened in January 2015, The Post, a New York-style pizzeria, fits right into Germantown just like a Catholic Church next door to a hipster family next door to a Nascar fan. While the neighborhood vibes of Goss Avenue abound on the large patio and the pizza is delicious and incredibly moderately priced, the bar and its staff win a place in my heart at The Post. Open til 2 a.m., The Posts spacious bar boasts a draft beer list of 16, many of them locals, and a mouth-watering bourbon list, where you can score an Angels Envy Rye Whisky for under $7 thats borderline unheard of, yall! Undoubtedly, The Post will soon be known as a Louisville staple, so scoot up a stool and have all-star bartenders Megan or Alex pour you an ice-cold Fireball shot and tell you about the delectable slice of the day.
