When and if you’re gallivanting near campus, be sure to stop in where Hooters and The Back Door collide on Central Avenue at Overtime Sports Bar & Grill, where you can choose from a vast array of solid bar food, 24 beer taps and undoubtedly indulge in server Tatiana’s volleyball shorts. With over 30 TV’s and a heavy-handed, smiling barkeep, Overtime is a downright appreciable location to watch a sporting event with friends — be sure to stop in between 4-7 for their unbeatable happy hour drink specials (a round of six Fireball shots for me and my friends ran a mere $18). If you can manage to keep it classy while the ladies in referee outfits serve your pizza (eyes on the game, fellas), you’ll leave with a sufficient buzz and a full, happy belly (and not quite depleted wallet, at that). For the love of my service industry ladies just trying to make a buck, don’t be a creep: nosh on those breaded ’shrooms.
