Clifton’s popular Japanese-Southern fusion restaurant, Enso, has closed indefinitely following a fire. The restaurant confirmed that everyone inside was safely evacuated, thanks to the quick response from the Louisville Fire Department.
In a statement released by Enso, the restaurant expressed its heartbreak over the incident. “We are heartbroken to share that Enso experienced a fire, resulting in our extended closure. Thankfully, everyone made it out safely, and we are immensely grateful to the Louisville Fire Department for their swift response.”
The length of the closure remains uncertain, but the restaurant’s owners emphasized their appreciation for the support from the local community. As they approached their one-year anniversary, the owners reflected on the challenging circumstances, but expressed optimism about rebuilding.
“With the strength of our amazing staff and this incredible community, we will rise from this stronger than ever,” the statement continued. Enso promised to keep customers updated on their progress and thanked them for their understanding.
The cause of the fire has not yet been disclosed, and the timeline for reopening remains unknown.
