Norton Commons

Norton Commons has officially opened Grove Park, a picturesque new public space in the community’s North Village designed to blend play, leisure and neighborhood connection.

For year-round enjoyment by locals and guests, the park features a hillside gathering spot with open lawns, imaginative play structures and a covered farmhouse-style porch.

Nestled near the popular Grove Pool, Grove Park expands the community’s network of green spaces.

“Grove Park introduces a fresh kind of gathering place to the North Village, thoughtfully designed, family friendly, and full of character,” said Sarah Pritts, Marketing Director for Norton Commons. “It’s a natural extension of the rhythm of life here, adding even more charm and connection to the everyday Norton Commons experience.”

According to a Norton Commons’ press release, children can speed down an embankment slide, swing on toddler and traditional swings, or visit Little Hen’s House, a charming play theater and cottage with a musical theme. Adults can unwind on the shady porch or enjoy the park’s picturesque, well-designed hillside in the meantime.

The new park complements a wide range of amenities that have made Norton Commons a national example of new urbanism and mixed-use neighborhood design.

Numerous parks and playgrounds, swimming pools, fountains, a rose garden, a lakeside amphitheater, walking routes, dog parks, a community vegetable farm and a town center modeled like an Italian piazza are already highlights of the community.

Grove Park is located in the North Village. When finished, this area will rank among the largest residential geothermal communities in the US since every home in it uses geothermal heating and cooling.

The area includes over 150 acres of planned green space.
