One of the fastest-growing hemp brands in Kentucky, Cornbread Hemp, has revealed the release of their THC seltzers following a legislative fight in Frankfort, where hemp-derived drinks, including THC seltzers, almost were outlawed.
“THC beverages across Kentucky were nearly outlawed,” said Cornbread Hemp co-founder and CEO Eric Zipperle. “But we couldn’t let that happen. We fought to keep THC Seltzers in the hands of Kentuckians, and now we’re celebrating that victory. As more folks, especially younger generations, choose THC over alcohol, we’re making sure they’ve got a high-quality, legal option they can trust.”
Co-founder Jim Higdon added, “We’ve always believed in protecting Kentucky’s hemp legacy. Not unlike the alcohol industry a century ago, hemp is facing its own era of prohibition. This isn’t just a win for Cornbread, it’s a win for the entire community of hemp consumers who enjoy these products responsibly.”
Each seltzer has five milligrams of hemp-derived THC, 30 calories and five grams of sugar. Every Waterfront Wednesday during this season, Cornbread Hemp will be selling the beverages.
