With a $1 million investment, Louisville-based maker of full-spectrum organic hemp products, Cornbread Hemp, plans to grow its business and generate 50 full-time jobs in Kentucky.

Emphasizing the benefit for the local manufacturing and agritech industries, Gov. Andy Beshear commended the company’s choice to expand in the state. “This project adds to the increasing list of Kentucky businesses choosing to reinvest in our communities and is creating quality employment for the Louisville area,” Beshear said.

While serving its growing client base, the expansion will enable Cornbread Hemp to increase its visibility in Kentucky’s manufacturing sector. The additional employment will encompass production, fulfillment, and sales, bringing the company’s total workforce in Kentucky to more than 100 individuals.
