Past Lebowski Fest performer Mike Doughty returns to Louisville Tuesday, Oct. 20, this time at Zanzabar (2100 S. Preston St., 635-ZBAR, www.zanzabarlouisville.com). The former Soul Coughing impresario’s third solo album, Sad Man Happy Man, came out Oct. 6 on ATO Records (My Morning Jacket, The Whigs). This unplugged performance features cellist Andrew “Scrap” Livingstone, a 33-year-old Brooklynite who has written an extensive MySpace blog about masculinity and watching the film version of “Sex & The City.” Tourmates Porter Block open. Tickets are $15. Showtime at 8 p.m.

MD: Disparity.

MD: I made her up. Zauberberg means “magic mountain.”

MD: She does.

MD: Eric Adams, New York state legislature.

LEO: Has anyone awarded you free enchiladas for your 800th tweet?
MD: No. Sadly, no.
