Chew on this: The Mohnton, Pa., group Innerpartysystem is poised to become the first band ever (at least that’s what the press release says) to put out a 7-inch single made entirely of chocolate. Sadly, the single, “Don’t Stop,” is being released in the U.K. and the run is limited to 100 copies. And I’m hungry. 

Stomp comp

Whole Foods Market is hosting the bluegrass group Relic on Wednesday, July 2, for a 5 p.m. free show. Who couldn’t use a little serenading while you’re shopping for soymilk and veggie burgers?

Oasis

Thankfully, we’re not referring to the Gallagher brothers. Club Oasis (1506 Lakeshore Ct.) is hosting a Wednesday night all-ages show with Sugar Spell It Out, Creatures and Amherst. Doors open at 8 p.m. Cost is $5 for 21 and over, $8 if you’re under 21.

Snow in July

Snow Monster, fronted by 5-year-old phenom Mabel Benzing, is celebrating the release of its latest album, Ready In Seconds, Saturday, July 5, at the Rudyard Kipling (422 W. The free, all-ages show starts at 7 p.m. Opener IamIs is finishing up its new album Trance Inducer at its own Mother Vein Studios, singer/keyboardist Shawna Dellacave reports.

The Trouble on Water

On Thursday, Jeffersonville, Ind., group The Trouble With Boys and The Hi-Tops play the free Radio Disney Fourth of July Concert at Waterfront Park’s Harbor Lawn Stage. The Boys play at 6 p.m. Thursday and at 8 p.m. Friday. Hear some tracks at myspace.com/thetroublewithboys.
