Night at the Museum

Friday, Feb. 20 | 5–7:30 p.m.
Falls of the Ohio State Park
$8 (free for foundation members & families)

History gets a glow-up after dark at the Interpretive Center, where costumed reenactors, hands-on crafts and immersive storytelling turn a typical museum visit into a time-traveling adventure. It’s designed with families in mind, but anyone who appreciates regional lore and interactive exhibits will find plenty to explore. A smart pick for shaking up the usual Friday routine.

Saxsquatch

Friday, Feb. 20 | 7–11 p.m.
Mercury Ballroom
$25

A seven-foot-tall sax-playing cryptid with millions of followers. Saxsquatch blends electronic production with live sax riffs, laser visuals and crowd-driven energy. He’s collaborated with artists from John Oates to Billy Ray Cyrus and even created music for Rocket League and Fortnite. Expect a high-production “Bigfoot Rave” vibe that leans as much into spectacle as sound.

Growers Not Showers – Champagne Party

Saturday, Feb. 21 | 6–11 p.m.
Nouvelle Bar & Bottle
$315 per person

This is the splurge of the weekend. The fourth annual fête celebrates small grower Champagnes with an open bar pouring coveted producers, paired with an indulgent menu from James Beard–nominated chef Noam Bilitzer and the Meesh Meesh team. Think raw bar, fried chicken and caviar cart, big bottles and a DJ-driven dance floor. Cocktail attire required; restraint optional.

The Simon & Garfunkel Story

Saturday, Feb. 21 | 8 p.m.
Brown Theatre

This concert-style theatrical production traces the rise of Simon & Garfunkel from their early days to the iconic Central Park reunion. A live band performs classics like “Mrs. Robinson,” “Cecilia” and “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” backed by projection and archival footage. For fans of harmony-driven folk-rock, it’s a nostalgia trip with polish.

Lunar New Year at the StrEatery

Sunday, Feb. 22 | 2–7 p.m.
Louisville StrEatery
Free

Ring in the Year of the Horse with lion dances, guest vendors and festive food specials. It’s a come-and-go celebration built around community, culture and plenty of flavor. If your weekend needs color, movement and a reason to linger over great bites, this is it.

John Crist LIVE

Sunday, Feb. 22 | 7 p.m.
The Kentucky Center

Stand-up comedian John Crist brings his clean, pop-culture-heavy humor to town as part of his national tour. With a billion-plus video views and a fast-growing fan base, Crist’s material mines family dynamics, faith and modern absurdities without leaning blue. If you want to close the weekend with laughs instead of leftovers, this is your move.
