Hateful Demonstration The music of Trangression is proto-punk goodness, feedback heavy and reverb-drenched vocals unapologetically barked into a hot mic. You can hear the sneer in the vocals, and the rage in the band, manifested here in enormous riffs, chugging breakdowns and the occasional blast beat or two. Self-described as “a collective of queers — screaming, yelling, and refusing to be silenced,” it’s crystal clear they’re gonna shout until they break down walls. This is intense music that doesn’t waste time on long passages, getting in and out, and kicking over every fucking table in the joint on the way.
