Muse, the English rock group behind hits like “Knights of Cydonia” and “Supermassive Black Hole,” has played at Wembley Stadium, Madison Square Garden and countless other larger-than-life venues across the world.

This weekend, though, they played an intimate, invite-only show at a venue much closer to home: the James B. Beam Distilling Co. in Clermont, Kentucky.

On Saturday, Oct. 8, Muse performed at the distillery as the culminating highlight of this year’s Jim Beam Welcome Sessions, a concert series that “spotlights how the power of music can help bring people together, focusing not just on the artist and the music but how it drives connection between artist and fan,” according to a press release. The concert series began in 2021 with Fontaines D.C., Jack Garratt, José González and Wolf Alice.

The Clermont show brought together 150 contest winners from around the world, Jim Beam employees and others in the bourbon trade, influencers, media, and more.

Contest winners received a free stay at Louisville’s Hotel Distil, free meals by professional chefs, free flights, free tours of the distillery and other perks.

LEO got a front-row look at the show. Check out our photos in the gallery above.
