Louder Than Life is ready to rock and/or piss off all of our neighbors once again! Louder Than Life 2025 is officially the largest lineup in the history of producer Danny Wimmer Presents. Over 160 bands will perform on 6 stages September 18, 19, 20 & 21 at the Highland Festival Grounds at Kentucky Exposition Center right here in Louisville, KY for the 11th edition of North America’s biggest and most certainly loudest rock and metal festival.
And the lineup is absolutely staggering! Headliners include Slayer, Deftones, Avenged Sevenfold, Bring Me The Horizon, Rob Zombie, Evanescence, Sleep Token, A Perfect Circle, Bad Omens, Marilyn Manson, $uicideboy$, and Breaking Benjamin.
Not to be overlooked on the bill are Louisville’s own Knocked Loose and Gates To Hell, as well as Lexington natives Picturesque. Plus a spot will be given to the winning band/artist of the “Loudest in LOU” contest, (more on that once we have it).
This year’s festival will also include a massive amount of band reunions, anniversaries, farewell shows, and full album performances, (listed below).
“Louder Than Life has always been about showcasing the future of rock and heavy music while honoring the legends who paved the way. Bands like Bring Me The Horizon, Sleep Token, Bad Omens, $uicideboy$, Motionless In White, Spiritbox, I Prevail, Slaughter To Prevail, Lorna Shore, Wage War, Dayseeker, and Knocked Loose aren’t just performing – they’re defining the next generation of headliners,” says Danny Wimmer, founder of Danny Wimmer Presents. “At the same time, pioneers like Slayer, Deftones, A Perfect Circle, and Avenged Sevenfold have set the standard, proving that this music is always evolving. This is where the past, present, and future of heavy music collide.”

Louder Than Life draws fans from every state and many countries around the world. The special 10th anniversary edition of Louder Than Life in 2024 brought together 150,000 fans over three festival days, (a fourth day was cancelled due to inclement weather), and continues to retain its title of America’s Loudest Rock & Metal Festival a decade after debuting in Louisville in 2014, marking a dedicated and ongoing partnership between the city of Louisville and festival producer Danny Wimmer Presents.
Louder Than Life and DWP’s Louisville companion festival Bourbon & Beyond, which takes place the weekend prior, generated over $33 million in local economic impact in 2024 and drew more than 300,000 attendees booking over 60,000 hotel room nights and creating a visitor boom at local restaurants and other businesses, including bourbon distilleries along the Urban Bourbon Trail.
Service fees on all pass purchases include a charity fee for the DWP Foundation, which will be supporting the following nonprofits in 2025: Dare to Care and Preston Area Business Alliance, plus more to be announced.
