Dropkick Murphys, The Aggrolites, and Haywire
Old Forester’s Paristown Hall | 724 Brent Street | kentuckyperformingarts.org/venues/paristown-hall | $42.50 | 6:45 p.m. | All ages
Dropkick Murphys have never been a band that avoids confrontation. Now 30 years into their career, their latest studio album, For The People, may be their strongest statement yet. Fittingly released on July 4th of 2025, For The People sees the band standing up with courage and confidence, speaking up against the injustices happening in the United States, doing so with the strength and power that harkens back to Dropkick Murphys’ earliest punk rock roots. Why? Because they feel it’s their duty, because the moment calls for it, because this is who they are, and their values aren’t about to change with the blowing of political and cultural winds. For The People is more than a title. It’s a heartfelt stance, a declaration of who this band is – and who they’ve always been.
Come sing along as they swing through Louisville on their For The People…In The Pit St. Patrick’s Day Tour, (which culminates with five shows in their hometown of Boston, MA). Joining them are long-running Los Angeles reggae/ska band The Aggrolites, and hardcore band and fellow Bostonians Haywire, (a.k.a. Haywire 617), who absolutely crushed it on the Kingdom Stage at Louder Than Life last year.

Punk Rock Night Louisville Presents: The Fauxgues, a tribute to The Pogues
Seidenfaden’s | 1134 E Breckinridge St. | facebook.com/seidenfadens | $10 | 5 p.m. | 21 and over
Dropkick Murphys may be the main course, but Punk Rock Night Louisville has cooked up a hell of an appetizer for you! Get down to Paristown early, grab yourself a prime parking spot before all the concertgoers get there, and walk over to Seidenfaden’s (just two blocks away from Paristown Hall) to catch The Fauxgues, Louisville’s premier tribute to The Pogues! Because let’s face it, without The Pogues, there would be no Dropkick Murphys. The show starts at 5:00 p.m., which leaves you plenty of time to get back over to Paristown Hall afterwards before the Dropkick Murphys take the stage.
And drinks are far cheaper at Seidenfaden’s than Paristown Hall, just sayin’.
