Poe’s output for the last several years has been incredibly high, indicative of an artist who places value on not only their image, but also on the quality of time spent. The beats are heavy with classic R&B samples mixed in a way that blends a good party-like energy, with a low-key, relaxed vibe. This is music that demands you roll the windows down in your ride and catch a nice breeze — it’s not too heavy, but it certainly has a momentum that never stops throughout the all-too-brief five tracks. Per usual, Poe’s raps are clever, witty exposes on suburban life and philosophy that never loses sight of the bigger picture.
