FriendsFest 2022 The Enchanted Forest $15 | 2 p.m. The Enchanted Forest will play host to local jams for a good cause this Saturday afternoon and evening: eight local musical acts Tyler Lance Walker Gill, Bandshee, The Mighty Ohio, The Tunesmiths, Planetary Overdrive, Scrooge Mandella, Tsunami Samurai, Nowhere Fast will come together to raise money for the Floyd County Child Abuse Prevention Council.
Elton John KFC Yum! Center 8 p.m. | Prices vary Prince. Beyoncé. Dylan. Adele. Elvis. Youve probably reached the highest level of iconic in any industry when someone can mention just your first or last name, with next to no context, and its perfectly clear who is being talked about. Elton falls into that category. Because like the rest of the people on that list, his music is not only ubiquitous, but hes a larger-than-life talent with a larger-than-life persona. Like some blurbs, I dont have to spend any time explaining his career, sound or importance. You already know. And its his final tour. One thing to consider, though: If you dont have a ticket already, at this point youll be paying a premium. As of noon on Friday, the cheapest seat on Ticketmaster was $136. You could consider going the scalping route, as well, but obviously that market can be dicey in its own way.

Guerilla Toss Zanzabar $12 | 8 p.m. The experimental psych-pop band Guerrilla Toss have taken elements of post-punk weirdness and, over the years, morphed it into a crystalized vision that still contains sprinkles of chaos for good measure about moving forward after lifes most challenging moments. Buddy Crime opens.
