Jane’s Addiction Loudmouth Stage  |  8:10 p.m. An influential alt-rock band that embraced sleazy stadium rock and morphed it into catchy and edgy hits for the MTV generation. They heard Zeppelin, idolized the experimental underground and soaked up punk, and then became their own strange and enticing animal. 

Metallica Space Zebra Stage  |  9:15 p.m. If you already have tickets to Louder Than Life, I probably don’t have to convince you to see today’s headliner, but the question is: What does Metallica have planned? They play tonight and Sunday, with the promise of unique sets. This year does mark the 30th anniversary of The Black Album…
