Like our city's namesake and our fleur-de-lis seal, the origin of the flea market is also French. But you don't have to fly to France to visit a marché aux puces because Louisville has incredible secondhand, vintage, and antiques markets.

Whether you're a collector or a casual shopper, Louisville flea markets are full of hidden treasures that you'll have to browse for yourself to believe.

Fleur de Flea

947 E. Breckinridge St.
Fleur De Flea Vintage Urban Market is a permanent indoor market housed in a warehouse space in the Paristown neighborhood. Since opening in 2020, this market has incorporated more than 150 vendors who sell antique housewares and décor, vintage clothing, vinyl albums, books, furniture, and even potted plants. Fleur de Flea also feature a pop-up bar that serves cocktails on Saturdays and Sundays. Special events at the market include the "Spin" Record Show, the Paristown Garden Show, and the Waterfront Outdoor Vintage Market.

Flea Off Market

1000 E. Market St.
The Flea Off Market is a pop-up hybrid of a traditional flea market and an arts and crafts fair. Markets include as many as 200 vendors, food trucks, craft beer by local brewers like Monnik, as well as live music, DJs, and hands-on workshops. The Flea Off Holiday Bazaar is a hight point in the winter shopping season. Throughout 2024, the market will be in the big parking lot at 1000 E. Market St. and at Monnik Brewery at 1036 E. Burnett Ave., among other locations.

Plan spend some time at the Derby Park Flea Market. This Churchill Downs-adjacent market has more than 100 outdoor vendor spaces and more than 600 indoor booths spanning 58 acres. Fortunately, they also have local eateries, a fresh produce market, and a campground and RV park.

Located in the Kentucky Expo Center West Wing Hall, the seasonal Kentucky Flea Market has more than 600 vendors. Their four-day events over Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends attract more than 15,000 shoppers so wear comfortable walking shoes and be ready for a treasure hunt.

This vintage shop in the Taylor-Berry neighborhood has a kaleidoscopic array of estate-picked items. They are open Sunday–Thursdays, but closed Friday and Saturday for inventory and stocking. Plan your visit accordingly and honestly, you’ll be tickled pink.

The Awesome Flea Market in Shepherdsville is open every Saturday and S8da all year. There are indoor and open-air vendors including vintage dealers, local artisans, and food. They also feature a Lazy River (on the actual Salt River) when weather permits. It might be a 15-mile drive from Louisville, but this flea market really is awesome.
