With its new Riesling Riders Festival, Nouvelle Bar and Bottle (214 S. Clay St.) looks forward to celebrating the grape varietal, Riesling. On June 23, Nouvelle will introduce an extensive list of Rieslings, offer live music and a special culinary collab.

From 1 p.m. – 8 p.m., guests will be treated to a whirlwind trip around the world with the Riesling grape. Nouvelle hopes to dispel common misconceptions about the often oversimplified grape. The festival will highlight “its rich flavors and diverse profiles.”

Squeeze-bot will provide live entertainment and Meesh Meesh will introduce a ‘schnitzelpita.’

“We are absolutely thrilled to bring back this incredible event which celebrates of the greatest but often misunderstood grape varietals in the world — Riesling.” said John Grisanti, owner of

Nouvelle Bar & Bottle in a release. “We are obsessed with Riesling and our goal is to create a fun and educational experience where guests can explore the depth and diversity of the varietal while enjoying great music and delicious food.”

The event is free and 21+ only. Sorry new parents, this includes infants.
