Harry’s Taphouse & Kitchen in Jeffersonville, Indiana has a fantastic view of downtown Louisville. Not to mention delicious wings and plenty of cold brews that you can enjoy on their covered patio.

Ahh Joes Crab Shack. Louisville natives will know this place well. Chances are, youve been to a birthday party at Joes Crab Shack. But that doesnt take away from the fact that Joes Crab Shack may be the most riverside themed restaurant on this list.

A Louisville staple since Derby Day 1948, KingFish on River Road is a great place to get your fried fish fix with a view of the river. Theres also a good chance youll catch some live music there on the weekends.

The Jeffersonville counterpart to Louisvilles KingFish is just as good. It also has a pretty great patio bar that sits right up against the river. A perfect place to take in the view of downtown Louisville.

Mike Linnings Restaurant is a Louisville landmark. Family owned and operated since 1925, and people keep coming back for more. This fish-fry style restaurant has great food (huge servings) and while you wait you can take a short hike that puts you right on the banks of the Ohio River.

While not exactly riverside (the Ohio River is a stones throw away), Catfish Haven still sits within view of Mills Creek and its own large pay lake. And the family-oriented bar and grill are a fishermans ideal hangout.

Upland Brewing has been busy expanding in northern Indiana, but has finally made waves on the riverside of southern Indiana in Jeffersonville. The restaurant brings the tried and true brews of Upland, and few changes to the menu unique to this riverside location.

While you cant directly see the Ohio River from Floyd County Brewing Company (dang flood wall keeping us safe and stuff!) You can still see the bridge and if the weather is nice enough you can easily walk over for a view. That is, if you havent enjoyed too many delicious brews.

Delightfully tacky as always, Hooters in Jeffersonville, Indiana also has a decent view of the Ohio River.

While the riverside view is obscured by the New Albany flood wall, this pub and kitchen is close enough to count. The patio is spacious, the food is top notch, and the brews are even better.

This family-owned steakhouse has been around Jeffersonville, Indiana for a while. Maybe its because you can get an amazing steak with a view of the river right outside your booth window.

The name says it all. Cluckers serves wings and, you guessed it, its a sports bar as well. But just because its predictable doesnt mean it isnt good. And at the Jeffersonville location you also get a fantastic view of downtown Louisville.

You know it, you love it, El Nopals are ubiquitous in the Louisville area, but only one has a view of the river. El Nopal in Jeffersonville gives you the delicious Mexican food you love with a great view of downtown Louisville.

Now, this one is a bit of a road trip it’s about an hour away from Louisville. But if you happen to be hiking in Hoosier National Forest or OBannon State Park and you feel like grabbing a bite, head to The Overlook Restaurant. Of all the restaurants in this list, it may have the best view: it sits on a huge hill overlooking the Ohio River.
