Gravely Brewing Co., Kentucky’s most award-winning brewery, is relocating its renowned Baxter Avenue taproom to NuLu later this summer. The new space will open at 905 East Main Street as part of a multi-million-dollar rehabilitation project at the corner of Main and Campbell Streets, led by Redbird Commercial Real Estate Group.
The move represents a new chapter for the live-music-focused brewery, which has been a neighborhood favorite since opening in 2017. The NuLu taproom offers more natural light, improved flow, and the same dynamic environment — plus cuisine from Eliana’s Honduran Café, a fixture of the current site. Design is being headed by Ryan De Remer of Brooklyn-based Sweatshop Studio, the company behind Gravely’s original “wall of sound” appearance.

Gravely will continue brewing at its Baxter site, which is earmarked for future redevelopment. “We love Baxter Ave. and will keep brewing here,” said creator Nathaniel Gravely in a press release. “But we’re excited to bring our taproom experience to new heights on Main Street.”
The new NuLu taproom will keep existing hours and may extend to include lunch service. More details are planned for later this summer. Learn more at gravelybrewing.com.
