Today, food trucks welcomed customers in front of the Convention Center in the first of a weekly event series to bring more locals downtown and give tourists and convention-goers more food options.
Good Belly, Phillys Best, Weekend Burger and The Celtic Pig pulled up today to sell their food. Local band The Baconaters provided live music.
The Food Truck Wednesdays series will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Wednesday through Oct. 26.
It will take place near the Kentucky International Convention Center at the 200 block of South Fourth Street, between Market St. and Jefferson St. That section of the street will be blocked off to cars.
