The 7th Annual Beignet Bash will be held on Tuesday, March 4th, 2025. The public is invited to attend. Old Louisville Brewery and Mattingly Edge are collaborating on this Mardi Gras-themed event, which will feature fresh-fried beignets, traditional king cake, and a special chicory-infused beer. An online silent auction, running from February 18 to March 4, is a new addition to this year’s celebration.
“This event embodies our mission to integrate people with disabilities into the heart of the community, celebrating their talents, contributions, and humanity alongside everyone else,” said Executive Director Hope Leet Dittmeier.
“For us, everything is about building community,” explains Steven Michael Carr of Old Louisville Brewery in a press release. “That’s why our slogan is ‘Community on Tap.’ It makes sense, to us, to partner with other community-oriented organizations like Mattingly Edge. I’ve seen firsthand the impact this organization has on the lives of people with disabilities and their families, and we are honored to be part of their work.”
