The Kentucky Restaurant Association’s Louisville chapter is gearing up for a milestone celebration with the 50th anniversary of “The Taste of Louisville” on Wednesday, October 16, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Mellwood Art Center (1860 Mellwood Ave.). This event will honor Louisville’s rich culinary heritage, featuring over 75 chefs who have made their mark on the local food scene.
Attendees can indulge in a wide array of signature dishes, paired with over 25 unique libations, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Whether you’re a foodie or a casual diner, this night promises an unforgettable tasting experience while highlighting the talents of Kentucky’s finest culinary masters.
Tickets are available for $85 in advance, with options for group purchases and reserved tables. Beyond the delicious bites and sips, live entertainment will feature performances from Soul Circus, a DJ, and a silent disco, adding to the evening’s festivities.
Proceeds from the event will benefit two charitable organizations: Frankie’s Family, which provides essential items to families in need, and Feed Louisville, an organization focused on reducing hunger and food waste.
