Art news The Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft has just announced it will have free admission for one year thanks to a Delta Dental sponsorship when it reopens on June 4 (kmacmuseum.org).

Kroger is seeking artists to create murals in their stores. Each location will be looking for different styles to fit their community. Deadlines vary. The next deadline is June 3 for the Holiday Manor Kroger. Louisville Visual Art is helping Kroger with the proposals. (louisvillevisualart.org).

Kentucky Country Day School is looking for an upper and middle school 3D visual arts teacher. Open until filled (kcd.org).

Art events “Spotted at the Racetrack” by Linda Bruckheimer is showing at Revelry Boutique Gallery from May 4-June 1. The opening reception is Wednesday, May 4 from 6-9 p.m. (revelrygallery.com).

The next First Friday Trolley Hop is on May 6 from 5-11 p.m. (firstfridayhop.com).
