Call for art: “Beyond Border Exhibit 2016” at the Arts Council of Southern Indiana. Deadline: June 15. The exhibit’s theme refers to the Monarch butterfly and its migration and life cycle. Artists will be notified of acceptance by July 3 (artscouncilsi.org). Artists and arts and cultural organizations in the Greater Louisville Region are invited to help create an inventory of cultural assets for the area as part of the development of a regional Master Plan for the Arts. The master plan, which is expected to be completed at the end of this year, will aim to identify and mobilize our regional arts and cultural resources, enhance quality of life, spur economic development and advance cultural tourism. This inventory is an important part of the overall planning process because it will identify the wealth of arts and cultural resources in the region. The questionnaire is open now through midnight on Thursday, June 30 (greaterlouisvillearts.com). Pre-registration required.
