Art news Call for art: The Seventh Annual Animal Attraction Show at the Arts Association of Oldham County, Gallery 104, 104 E. Main St. in La Grange. Work must be original and have been completed within the past three years. Deadline: Feb. 12 (gallery104.org).

The Creative Agents of Change Foundation, the non-profit educational arm of IDEAS xLab, is holding a call for fellowship artist residencies. The fellowships are in collaboration with KY/NYC and Residency Unlimited. Fellows must design projects that can be achieved between April 2016-March 2017. Art events The Louisville Free Public Library is partnering with the Asia Institute–Crane House to introduce children to Kamishibai-style storytelling. Kamishibai is an ancient Japanese art of illustrated cards and spoken-narration.
