Art news Louisville Metro Government’s first artist-in-residence is Benjamin Duke. His painting “Full of Life, Now” is now on permanent display in Metro Hall, 527 W. Jefferson St. (louisvilleky.gov).

Marianne Zickuhr’s new morning radio show “Marianne in the Morning” is on Mondays-Fridays at 7 a.m. on ART+FM’s 97.1 FM. She will cover local arts and culture along with traditional drive time info such as weather, news and traffic (artxfm.com).

Ruchi Malhorta is conducting a Silk Scarf Workshop using the traditional Indian Bandhani process on Feb. 11 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Asia Institute Crane House, 1244 S. Third St. Registration required. $30, $25 for AICH members (cranehouse.org).

AA Clay Studio & Gallery is featuring a Valentine’s Day special for couples who want to channel their inner Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore in “Ghost.” Their “Couples Wheel Throwing” Valentine’s Day Special is on Feb. 13 & 14 at 2829 S. Art events The Performing Arts Collaborative’s Design, Administration, & Technology Career Development & Job Fair is on Jan. 15-16 at the Brown Theatre, 315 W. Broadway. The two-day event will include the opportunity to interview for jobs with regional companies including Actors Theatre of Louisville, Stage One, The Louisville Ballet, Kentucky Shakespeare, Kentucky Opera and more. There will be seminars on resume preparation, interview techniques, portfolio presentation and other topics to assist students on how to succeed in their job search and careers (facebook.com/PACLouisville).
