Being Instagrammable doesnt just mean being a great selfie spot, though many such places are. Of course, many of the most Instagrammable venues have particularly trendy decor greenery walls, neon lettering, gel lights, etc. but some of them just make for cool photos in general.
Weve put together this list of the 30 most Instagrammable places in and around Louisville. While you may be disheartened not to see especially photogenic events like Wild Lights at the Zoo or Beyond Van Gogh, we created this list to be (more or less) as evergreen as the plant walls at our favorite local IG-ready spots.
This list is unranked. If we missed anything, let us know at leo@leoweekly.com
have someone else take photos of you instead. But Churchill Downs is also open throughout the year, so if you miss The Big Day, you still have plenty of other opportunities for Instagram shots.

A walk along the Big Four Bridge gives you the opportunity to see (and take photos with) the Louisville skyline, and its a fun way to get over to Indiana, too. At night, the bridge is lit up with colors.

727 W Main St.
You know how everyone takes photos of themselves reflected in The Bean when they go to Chicago? Our equivalent (sort of) is the parabolic mirror/whisper dish in front of the Science Center. It makes for a cool selfie. (And, hey, the rest of the museum is pretty darn cool, too.)

Whether you go to the Yum! Center for a UofL game, a concert, a graduation, or something else, taking a photo there inside or outside almost always means youre having a good time and surrounded by thousands of other people doing the same. Plus, there are plenty of colorful theatrics.
