Grab your fiddles, folk fans! The 2nd Annual Roots Revue, a two-day music festival on Memorial Day weekend, is returning to Paristown, bringing the best of bluegrass, roots, and folk music. Sam Bush, known as one of the first progressive Bluegrass musicians and an International Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame member, will headline.

The festival is presented by Uncle Boojie’s Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, the finest whiskey the world has “never seen,” founded in Howardstown, Kentucky. Exclusively available in Paristown, this family recipe has been passed down through seven generations, surviving more than 200 years despite its limited quantity.

The Kentucky School of Bluegrass and Traditional Music (KSBTM) will benefit from this festival as an indispensable partner of Roots Revue. Located in Hyden, Kentucky, KSBTM aided in curating a lineup that brings both new and iconic talent together to make authentic Kentucky magic as KSBTM students play alongside local fame, keeping traditional Bluegrass alive and inspiring a new generation of folk artists.

Located in the newly revitalized historic arts and entertainment district of Paristown, one mile from downtown Louisville, the event promises Kentucky culture: “Roots Revue will bring together two days of live music in the heart of Paristown, further creating and building an annual home for Bluegrass music in the state of the bluegrass,” said Steve Smith, Paristown’s Managing Partner. You can expect to experience delicious food and cocktails alongside some of the greatest acoustic artists in the region under Christy’s Garden pavilion. Furthermore, vendors will sell vintage items, records, pottery, jewelry, and more, and if you’re feeling spunky, join the workout class that will take place!

Get your tickets for May 24th and 25th! Weekend General Admission passes are $45, or $30 per day, with FREE admission for children 10 and under with an adult ticket.
