The classic children’s book “The Snowy Day,” written by Ezra Jack Keats, is a story about a boy experiencing snow for the first time. This month, you can experience the book in a live-action production in Old Forester’s Paristown Hall.
“The Snowy Day and Other Stories,” which stars Caisey Cole, Chase Howard, and Said Nxttime Kelly and features musicians from the Louisville Orchestra, expands upon the original book and “explores our connections to the changing of the seasons,” according to a press release.
The one-hour show runs Dec. 15-17 and Dec. 22-23 at 11 a.m., 2 p.m., and 5 p.m. each day. General admission tickets are $22.50 plus fees; VIP tickets are $37.50 plus fees.
