Nouvelle Bar & Bottle is officially back.
Sacha Geoffroy, a winemaker from the renowned Geoffroy Champagne company in Cumieres, in the Vallée de la Marne, will be a special guest at the Louisville wine bar’s RE-OPENING Champagne Party on January 16.
The celebration serves as a direct challenge to Dry January and commemorates Nouvelle’s return from its yearly winter vacation. According to the event’s release, Sacha Geoffroy represents the current generation of the family-run Champagne producer, working alongside her father, Jean-Baptiste Geoffroy. Together, they’ve earned a reputation for crafting bold, character-driven wines that emphasize terroir and tradition rather than industrial uniformity.
Admission is free, the vibes are high and the focus is squarely on drinking better wine. It’s a rare chance to meet one of Champagne’s most engaging producers—right here in Louisville.
