Good Housekeeping Magazine has released a list of the 23 best factory tours in America for families, and their conclusion is that the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory hits it out of the park.

The museum tour was their No. 1 pick, just ahead of the Jelly Belly Visitor Center & Factory in Fairfield, California (cool beans) and the Kazoo Factory Tour Experience in Beaufort, South Carolina (we hear it’s a pretty buzzy attraction).

The national magazine said their picks were “appropriate for kids,” “well-reviewed by families” and currently open (or opening soon.)

For the Louisville Slugger Museum, Good Housekeeping highlighted their hands-on displays featuring Babe Ruth’s and Derek Jeter’s bats, the photo-ops and the the free mini bat souvenirs that are handed out to each visitor.

“This tour will be a home run,” the magazine wrote.

Most Louisvillians already know what the Slugger Museum has to offer, but if you haven’t been yet, or you want to go now, guests are encouraged to book tickets in advance. The museum is open each day of the week. Tickets cost $18 for adults and go down from there.

P.S.: For those not traveling with kids, the company that owns the Museum recently added an adults-only experience in the same building worth checking out: A chance for those who are 21 and over to blend their own bourbon at Barrels & Billets.
